Tier 4 is where we find some of the young and promising quarterbacks that we hope will become the future of the league. These are the guys that are currently being ranked near their floor and it will only go up from here as they show what they can do in the NFL. Their outstanding raw talent gives us reason for excitement, but it is currently uncertain if that will translate to them winning football games for their respective franchises.

18. Caleb Williams - Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams has been promoted as the savior for the city of Chicago and the Bears with his arrival from USC. There is a lot to like about him as a prospect. He certainly has the arm strength, mobility, and size to play the quarterback position at the highest level. However, the incredibly high expectations and his hero style of play may be his undoing. Historically, quarterbacks who have this type of expectation on them tend to fall apart. Will Caleb Williams surpass those expectations or collapse under them?

17. Kyler Murray - Arizona Cardinals

All of these quarterbacks can be effective on the ground and through the air, but for Kyler Murray, it is a matter of whether he can truly be the franchise guy in Arizona. The physical tools are there for Kyler as he can sling it and take off running downfield. His size is incredibly questionable and he hasn’t been able to be efficient in the NFL thus far, but a lot of that can be attributed to poor coaching. Kyler now has some new weapons like Marvin Harrison Jr. who they acquired with the 4th overall pick. Is this the year that Kyler can finally have a breakthrough in Arizona?

16. Jayden Daniels - Washington Commanders

Jarden Daniels is the most electric and dynamic quarterback taken in the NFL draft since Lamar Jackson. The Commanders do have an older roster, but with a dynamic quarterback like Daniels, it will create space for others to give better opportunities to everyone on offense. The mere threat of Jayden Daniels taking off will slow down the pass rush, not only helping the offensive line but also giving the receivers longer to get open downfield. This offense is going to look very different than last year and that’s all because of Jayden Daniels.

15. Anthony Richardson - Indianapolis Colts

Anthony Richardson, in very limited action last year, looked like prime Cam Newton. Even though he only played 4 games last year, Richardson showed flashes of superstardom with 3 passing TDs, 4 rushing TDs, and only 1 interception. This dynamic ability at his size will cause opposing defensive coordinators to lose sleep at night. If Anthony Richardson can stay healthy and protect himself from injury, he will develop very nicely into a dominant quarterback in the NFL.
